Inside, outside, one hand.

ULU needed a room that feels like a surf shack and a terrace you want to sit on all day. We built the joinery inside and out: a red bench that runs along the wall and curves up into its own backrest, oak veneer panels on every wall, an oak bar and thermo-pine benches for the orange terrace.

What we made

  • 01Red slatted bench. Slats bent to a continuous curve and painted red in our own booth.
  • 02Wall panels. Oak veneer boards, floor to ceiling.
  • 03Bar counter. Oak, with a dark top and a steel kick plate.
  • 04Shelving. Oak cubbies for merch and coffee.
  • 05Terrace benches. Thermo-pine slats on the orange walls outside.

Look closer.

The slats run in one curve from seat to backrest — no separate back, no cushions. Painted red in our own booth.
